Stained Glass

I was in a military museum Montreal, Quebec, Canada which was a converted from a church. The windows still had their stained glass. The beauty of the glass was marred by decades of black grime but when the sun came through it was incredible. Somehow the darkened dirty windows matched the somberness of the museum. I was reminded of rose windows in cathedrals. My geometric design is not an actual window....I was just trying to create the feeling of darkened dirty stained glass.

Finished size is 7"x7" (18cm x 18cm) 11 different prisma coloured pencils and a lot of black, original line work, HB pencil.
