Just a little preview:
You never would have guessed it. It was too unreal and impossible. But it was true and you couldn't change it. He- your best friend... was more than he seemed.
The sun was setting slowly behind the purple tinted mountains. You couldn't help but let out a sigh as you watched it ease it's hold of light on the world and allow darkness to embrace it instead.
"It's so pretty. I wish I could watch it forever." You said with a small smile. "But for now- homework." You sighed irritably.
Quickly, you sat back at the table and picked up your pencil. You looked at your essay on the revolutionary war for a moment, before letting out a groan.
"Dangit (y/n)- why didn't you pay more attention??" You scolded yourself as you slammed the pencil down on the paper. Of course- you already knew why…
Alfred Jones was probably the hottest guy you had ever met. Not to mention the sweetest and loudest guy you had ever met, and being a senior in high school, that meant a lot.
Sure- there were a lot of good looking guys at your school, which was actually a huge jumble of multi cultural people. Like Feliciano Vargas and his brother Lovino- they were two Italian brothers… totally good looking. Ludwig Bellschmit and his older brother Gilbert were from Germany, and pretty easy on the eyes themselves. But Alfred was the one you had found yourself head-over-heels for. Not to mention, he was your best friend that lived across the street from you…
"Better call him, he'll know. He's good at this sort of thing." You sighed, getting up and grabbing your cell phone off your counter. You dialed in the familiar number and started typing.
"Hey Al." you keyed in.
"Hey there (y/n)!!" His text came almost instantly. You smiled. "What's up? You usually never call this late…"
"Well- I need help with my history essay… and I thought I would ask you about it cuz your really good with this stuff…" You typed awkwardly. It was so against your pride to ask for help…
"History?! That's totally my subject! I'll be right over!" You sighed blissfully.
Not two minutes later, there was a knock at your door. You quickly went to answer it, and yelped as Alfred came barreling in, shouting at the top of his lungs and throwing his arms around your neck. You blushed slightly as you squeaked and toppled over.
"Hahahaha! Scared ya!" He laughed his usual laugh, offering his hand to help you up. You accepted it and was yanked to your feet.
"Yes you did!" You said, hitting his shoulder. "Jerk! Thank you for coming." You smiled.
"No problem! What are hero's for?!" Alfred laughed again. "So you need help on the essay? Which subject did you get?" He asked. You had all chosen from a hat to see what project and essay you would be doing for the class.
"What did you get?" You asked. "Bet yours is better."
"Eh? I got JFK." He said. "But I already finished it." He added.
"Wow. You're good." You sighed. "I hardly have the essay started."
"Well I'm here to help!" Alfred said happily, starting toward the kitchen where you always did your homework. He looked down at the title of your essay and you could have sworn for a moment that his face had gone paler and his eyes had darkened. But it had disappeared before you could even be sure you had seen it.
"Revolutionary war?" he said looking at you. You nodded. He beamed. "Well lets get to it!" He laughed loudly.
After only an hour of work, you and Alfred had created a project worthy of college degrees. Every bit of detail was put into the poster and essay that there possibly could have been. Heck- this could have been done by someone who was in the Revolutionary war. And you felt proud.
"This- is definitely an A." you said happily. Alfred laughed.
"Heck yes it is!" He said triumphantly. "It's hero worthy!" He threw a fist in the air and you laughed.
"Thank you so much. I don't know how I'm ever going to repay you." You said with a smile. He beamed at you again.
"Come to my football game!" He said happily. "And then we can call it even!"
"Alright! I'll get first row seats!" You said. Alfred beamed at you and laughed before kissing you on the cheek.
"I'll see you tomorrow!" He said with his enormous grin and left out the front door, leaving you standing in the doorway, completely dazed. You slowly waved back and then closed the door as you saw him enter his own home. Leaning against the door, you touched your cheek where he had kissed you.
"Wh- what just happened?"

Oneshot! AmericaxReader: France's Closet
"______, Dude, what are you doing?" America made his way over to the brown couch you sat on, peering over your shoulder and at the TV you so blankly stared at.
"Shh!" You hissed, not bothering to look over to the brown haired man. "Addicting. Eyes glued."
America just sighed, and made his way to the other side of the couch. Plopping down beside you, he still continued to wonder all the fuss was about. He looked at you, hunched over slightly, hands clutching a DVD case as hard as they could. He couldn't quite see the cover, but by the way you held it, it seemed pretty important to you. Smiling, he looked over to the screen you kept staring s

Zero to Hero [America x Reader]
There he was again, every time you walked into your favourite bookstore you saw Alfred Jones on the cover of every opinion poll in the entire nation. You never understood why he was so popular, he wasn't a singer, or an actor and his interviews aren't funny so he definitely not comedic. Yet the girls are over him more than they were with One Direction. It was pure utter madness, and it definitely got on your last nerves.
For goodness sakes if there was a fight in the middle of the streets he could stop it, Hell apparently his presence is so angelic it could turn even the most sour person into a happy-go-luckily one. Sadly your friend was obs

You got in and shut the door and Prussia locked it from the outside. “SOOO here we are…in a closet…might I add it is the biggest closet I’ve ever been in!” you said trying to break the awkward silence lingering in the air. “You’ve been in a closet before?” Alfred asked “oh Alfred this isn’t the first time I’ve played this game GAWSH” you said hurmoursley (that’s a word…right?) Al Blushed “oh y-ye
