Pokeumans: The Shadow Within Chapter 1

                                       Chapter 1
                                    Into the Cave
     
Vibrations surrounded me at every part of my body. The rattling of iron emitted from somewhere close. Wherever I was. Suddenly, I woke up in something tight, not being able to tell what it is. After a few seconds, my eyes dialated to see crates. Wooden boxes bolted to the top to seal it's containments. Dust meandering on the dim light passing through the roof. Coming to my senses, I feel something wrapped around my arms and legs, feeling cold to the bone. I was wrapped in chains. I was locked in a truck, a hostage to the person behind all of this. The truck came to a stop, pushing me forward against the wall. A sound came from outside, sounding like an army.

     Hut, hut, hut! The thought aroused me in a jumble of thoughts. I then remembered about my fur. I felt something bulge in the back of my pants barely. I knew nothing was in my pockets, so I didn't know what it could be. Thinking of all possible things that could have added to the furry chest, I only decifered it could be one thing. A tail.

     Total submissive shock came over me as I thought about the tail. Suddenly, I heard a ruckus being made outside. What could that be? I pondered, as the door got blasted open just beside my body. The sunlight blinded me for a second, only to be brought back by the sight of a Glaceon. A Glaceon in the real world? I must be delusional. The Glaceon, apparently a female, started to unchain me while talking.

     "Are you okay? Hopefully they didn't hurt you," she coaxed, "We need to get you out of here fast,"

     "Uh... I..." I stuttered, amazed to see a Glaceon.

     "I know, you see a real life Pokemon. It shocked me too," she says with a giggle. She is a true friend. I can tell by how she acts with me in a time of peril. Releasing me from the chains, the Glaceon mitions me to run with her. We sprint through a dense forest, concealing our tracks as we are being hunted down. The tension is building up as we continue to run. After a half an hour, we reach a beach shore, stopping finally.

     "You're safe now," she said with a smile, "So, what's your name?"

     "I'm Tyler. And you are?" I ask with enough knowing about her to be friends.

      "Avery. Pleased to meet you Tyler," Avery says with a giggle. She led me down the beach, splashing me a bit to mess with me.

     "Where are you from, Tyler?" she asked me with a curious voice.

     "Los Angeles. You?"

     "Oh my gosh, me too!" She seemed really excited to have someone she can relate to. We reach a small cave by the beach, entering it cautiously. Avery went to a rock and pushed it, making a secret cave door open to a place of wonder.

     "Tyler, welcome to the El Camillo Pokeuman Base!" I stared in awe as Avery announced it. The base looked like a high school mixed with a city, but with Pokemon. They interacted just like regular humans. Talking, reading, laughing. It seems like they've been like humans all their lives. Avery included.

     "Let's get you to the nurse, first of all. We want to make sure that you are alright," Avery said, leading me through the crowds of Pokemon eyeing me. Some looked pleased with a human being saved again. Some stared in awe with Avery being with me, making me believe she is popular. Others looked at me thinking I was cute. After a while, we reach a small building, reminding me of a Pokemon Center in the games. A Blissey waited at the door, wearing a nurse cap, and greeted me. Something was going to happen very soon.
