Goals: She wants enough wealth that she could live comfortably for the rest of her life and the respect of her peers.

Hobbies and other facts: Kanna is fascinated by history and likes to read any book she can get her hands on. Despite her outward bravado that she doesn't care if she doesn't look nice, she does have some self-image issue, especially when around people who can afford to look after their own appearance. She can't swim

Kanna has been needing a wardrobe shake up XD It's been bugging me for a while now that her outfit references were still those I create back when she was an FC so I figured that I would get new ones done before I get back to work on art that I owe out~

Kanna likes to be comfortable, and actually, she only likes one of the outfits here (her default outfit), the rest are too fussy and hard to move in. But they are necessary for her to blend in with various town fashions (she is a wanted woman after all).

Most of Kanna's story takes place in a desert, and her pale skin tone makes her stand out enough from the crowd already without her outfit giving her away as well XD

Ah, I don't think I've ever explain this before, but Kanna's complexion and pale hair are due to a genetic defect called being "touched". It's seen as really bad luck and most children born with this condition are left to die by their parents because of its implications as a curse from the Gods. Kanna herself was abandoned by her parents, but by luck, she was happened upon by a bandit clan whose leader could not have children and decided to raise her as her own (bandits make their own luck, so luck from the Gods really means nothing to them). The clan was wiped out when Kanna was 10 and since then she had to make her own way on the streets. Being touched basically gives you a higher affinity with magic. You meet a few more touched in my story that managed to escape their fate, most notably the sorcerer that travels with Kanna later on, Nao (I'll have to rewrite that explanation later on to make it less confusing XD).
