Description

oren is Kraeos' Pantheon's Healer; though he can also be a Plaguebearer when needed. He uses his power over Plague and Sickness in battle; though without his Plague, he's not a very strong fighter.

Ioren is gentle and sweet! He is VERY selfless, and he will let himself be hurt to avoid others being hurt, and will run himself into utter exhaustion to heal and help anybody who needs it. He does this even when it puts him in danger. Ioren hates to see people suffer, and will always forgo his own comfort just to comfort somebody else.

In the story I have forming in my mind, Akila, who in my story is the offspring of Aedyn and Orios (LONG story short, Gods do not reproduce through biological means, so gender has nothing to do with gods making more Gods. Gender is judged by the God's energy and the appearance he or she takes) gets taken by an evil god named Azsahel, and Azsahel proceeds to try to break Akila and force him to become a god of warfare and voilence; Beating the poor Newling at every opportunity... Even planning other cruel things.
Ioren, though, being a gentle and selfless soul, purposfully distracts Azsahel from Akila, which often results in vicious beatings to the young god.
Especially since Azsahel even got to the point of raping the poor thing, even when he was just a Newling. Azsahel was thoroughly maddened and a viciously evil Primordial, with the Element of Destruction. He loved to watch people suffer and die and would destroy Pantheons and worlds one by one.
Azsahel plans to do the same to Akila, but Ioren doesn't let him, and distracts Azsahel more and more because he doesn't want to see another young god broken like he was.
This gives Orios, who was nearly stripped of his power and injured, to have the chance to contact Kraeos and the rest of his Pantheon; they managed to get in, save Orios and Akila, and get out before anybody gets hurt - but nobody knew Ioren was helping, and he preferred it that way - he didn't think they'd accept him anyway.
After some healing, the three Godlings. Alaeos, Kai, and Sariel, and the Newling, Akila, are barriered off in a room for their own safety, watched over by one of Kraeos' allies, and the Pantheon goes back against Azsahel.
In the end, Ioren, known as Thanoros, Bringer of Death, the Plaguebearer - provided the key that killed the evil Primordial.
Orios recognized that Ioren tried to help, and Kraeos ended up taking the godling in. It took a lot of time and effort to heal the frightened godling's broken mind and spirit, but with time he slowly opens up more and more and gets over all of the terrible pain of his past.

Ioren's story starts off very sad and tragic, and it takes him thousands of years to heal after his ordeal... But he becomes confident and strong; though still a bit shy and timid around new things. Ioren is now very strong and confident, but still rather shy at times. He has a bit of a sense of humor which many blame on hanging around Kraeos too much.

He never loses his gentle, self-sacrificing nature. ^^
