I will feature underexposed artists that I've happened to find using the Discovery page here on dA! If you would like an overview of how to use this page, feel free to see this brief guide!
BK1LL3R
BK1LL3R's style is undeniably attractive to the eye. His gallery is full of typography, design, and everything in between, and I guarantee that you'll find something that makes you say, "Wow!" just with a quick browse.
Vasilisa
Vasilisa reminds me of a contemporary interpretation of traditional Asian brush painting. It's really stunning to see, and I had a lot of fun looking through her gallery for pieces to feature! I recommend it to anyone who is fond of Hokusai or similar styles.
Gin-n-Juice
Even though Gin-n-Juice's gallery is on the smaller side, each of his pieces is brilliantly interesting! His style carries throughout the different artworks, so that he art is unified in beauty and execution.
yondus
yondus's subjects are endlessly interesting and his photographs are taken from vary interesting angles.
Here is a collage of other art that caught my eye...

Where I've been
Lately I've begun to feel that deviantART is not visual enough. In favor of community, I think it's complicated itself with journals, news, polls, devWEAR, etc. There're so many features ABOUT art, that I think the art itself has been obscured. The art should be highlighted in the inbox! Art from my watchers should be large, and it shouldn't be buried in stacks and stacks of other things. It should be a constant stream. We should have art flowing from the sides and the top, but at the current stage, I'm just overwhelmed by all the other bits and bobs. I love all of its features; they're awesome if you have time to use them, but when you don't
Off to Paris
I leave for Paris tomorrow! If you've been or live there, any recommendations on places to see or eat? :eager:
See you on the other side. :happybounce:
Another year gone by.
2012 was actually an very mixed year for me. Lots of ups, fewer downs. It's really been great for self-discovery, exploration, and preparation for the real world. At the beginning of the year, I was still a naive freshman, now I'm (hopefully) a less naive sophomore. I've become more confident in abilities and myself (in fact, I'm stretching/gauging my ears, something I never would have been comfortable with in January 2012), and I'm going for global opportunities to further my education. In just two weeks, I'll be in Paris!
Unfortunately with all of this personal business, dA has fallen to the wayside in 2012 as I try and make the most of RL
