Journaling Stuffs

Ah it's time for yet another feature. I decided I wanted to go ahead and continue with my Under Valued Features. I really like trying to help others who perhaps aren't getting the views that they wish they were getting to get them. These are some of those people.

I don't have much to update with really. I went to my interview on Monday and now I am playing the waiting game to see what is going on.

I have been working hard at learning how to use the tablet and well it's tough at times. I went through some emotional times yesterday crying over hair that I was working on not really looking as good as I see others making it. I keep working on tutorials but I don't seem to be getting any better. I realize now that mixed media is definitely my weakness. I have a hard time trying to put painted elements and make them not look too painted so that the whole piece can look good together when it is blended but it isn't easy. I know I am really hard on myself, and I know that I am very new to working with it. I also know that I need to unlearn the things I did when I was working on avatars and start really paying attention to artistic qualities. I sadly compare myself to other artists and of course as with any artist I never compare myself with artists who aren't as good as me, but always better than me... and sadly it is getting me down. I keep trying to remind myself that these artists are much more experienced than me but sometimes it is difficult.

The Under Valued Feature

  

Forever - A Story In PoetryI remember what
You told me,
When I was but an
Innocent child.
"True love is forever;
It never dies,
Nor grow weaker,
It remains for always."
You told me that,
Before the day
You fell asleep,
And failed to rise
The next morning.
I wasn't allowed
To see you,
They told me
I was too young.
Too young,
To comprehend
What was happening.
The crows,
They brought you here,
To this sacred place,
Your figure slumbering
In a dark timber box.
The crows,
They are still here.
They watch you
While you sleep,
Peer at your body,
Lifeless in your
Black wooden bed.
Six come forward,
Their talons extend
Towards your crib,
Grasping the edges
With a firm yet loving hold.
The others,
They lower their beaks
In misery, in respect.
The six pass by,
Never stopping nor
Breaking their stride,
Salty cascades
Tumbling down their cheeks.
Lowering your cot
Into the earth,
The six disperse,
Moving back to allow
Others to push through.
Each crow,
They throw flowers upon
Your lifeless figure,
You do not stir,
Nor gasp,
Or
