I will tell you how I met Arthur. I planned to do some paperworks at overseas, because I thought I would be happier if I couldn't see my stupid boss' irritating face.

I decided to take a break from the tedium of my work, stepping out on to the soft sand of the pristine beach. The air was crisp and cool, the wind blowing teasing fingers and fluffing up my hair. The sea was still and calm, the only thing ruining the view was the dark blot of a large ship on the horizon… heading this way. When the ship got close enough to be out of the suns glare, I saw it was a beautifully designed and made galleon, I really want to ride that ship,feel the gleaming timber deck under my feet.

After a few minutes, the boat dropped the anchor, and longboats brought a handful of rew to the shore. I wondered what they were doing here. I saw a tall figure stand and jump down from the boat, his leather boots making the sand crunch. I saw he was a pirate.

He had a blond hair, I'm not sure of his eye color, but I think it was emerald green, He wore a red coat with a simple design on the edges and it was unbuttoned, his long sleeved undershirt was unbuttoned too, leaving his muscular chest exposed. A red sash wrapped around his waist. His ear was full of piercings, and he was wearing an eye patch but that makes him hotter, What!? What am I thinking!?

He walked towards me and took my hand and kissed it.

"Good day to you, love" he said in a calm voice

"G-Good day to you too"

"Are you by yourself?" he asked

"You can tell right?" I replied bluntly

"How rude, I love that" He suddenly tossed me like paper over his shoulder and dragged me in to the longboat. After a few minutes, we were rowed out to the ship.

"H-Hey, What are you doing!? Put me down!" I struggled, I elbowed him on the back but it didn't work, he was damn strong

"Relax, love. I'm not going to hurt you"

"Tell me where are we going and I'll stop"

"I heard that you're so busy doing paperworks huh?" he said as he kicked the door of his cabin and let you sat down on his bed.

"How did you know...?" Is he a stalker? or just have an eye on hell?

"Didn't you know? I'm also a country. Like you"

"Really?"

"Yes, really"

I hate to admit it but I'm amazed, It's my first time seeing a pirate, I lived 200 years and never saw one, The pirate who's standing in front of me was ridiculously handsome, I loved the way he acted like a gentleman but I'm not sure if that was his normal attitude or just acting because I've never heard of a pirate who's also a gentleman. Who cares? as long as he's acting like that! but I feel like I'm in danger...

"Do you live here?" I asked him as I crossed my legs

"Not really, I just wanted to sail and escape from paperwork" he sighed, he removed his hat also his coat and sat beside me.

"Wow? You're in the same boat as me!"

'literally' I added in my head

"I bloody hate paperworks, but even more than that, my boss' face!" he groaned as he lay down with his hands on the back of his head.

'We're the same, I also hate my freaking boss' face!'

Silence built up in the room, I don't know what should I say to him, I'm afraid because I might say something rude since It's my "normal" attitude and he might kill me because of it. I didn't notice that he fell asleep, he looked so careless, sleeping so soundly. I pulled him and let him lie on the pillow. When I arranged his head, he suddenly yanked me and cuddled me tightly.

"Sleep with me..."

"But-"

"I know you're tired..." he mumbled

Yes, I'm tired but I don't know myself why I didn't refused, I feel like an idiot now, His body is so warm not just because of the sun. I slept like I'm dead, I hadn't slept for almost 2 days! I thought if I slept, I wouldn't wake up for months!

When I woke up, I saw the pirate leaning and sitting on the large window, watching the sea.

"Good morning, love" he smiled at me

"M-Morning!? It's already morning!?"

"Yeah and you were so cute last night" he smirked

"Huh? H-Hey... Did we do something...?"

"What if we did?" he said, raising one thick eyebrow.

'No way...'

Then, he suddenly smiled "Just kidding" he giggled

"Die!" I cursed

After that, he asked me to go outside and eat breakfast. When I stepped foot on the deck, the crew stared at us... no... at me. I hide behind his back.

"What are you looking at, gits?" he snarled

"Don't worry, love, as long as I'm here, they won't hurt you" he reassured me

We ate breakfast as we talked of how crappy our life being a country is, he said he's enjoying his life on seas, he's a pirate but he never robbed people. He told me his name, his name is Arthur Kirkland, he's the Great British Empire/England. You heard some rumours about the British Empire, they won a lot of wars and grew rapidly within 2 years. When we finished our breakfast, we went outside and watched the peaceful sea , talking all the while. I enjoyed talking to him, I always burst out of laughing when he made a joke, but sometimes I blush because of his compliments.

"...but you know, I might quit being a pirate someday..."

"I think it would suit you to just become a simple guy and wear suits or something" I giggled, he lifted me up and made me sat on the ship's wooden rail, he held my back to prevent me from falling.

"Just you wait..." he mumbled

After that meeting, I just saw him sitting in the World Conference, he's not wearing his pirate outfit, but a suit like I said on that day.
