I'm taking over the Community Projects category from haldron - this means that you can apply to take over dA related from me.
Let's switch positions 
Since yesterday, haldron has started his new job - as Product Marketing assistent, here at deviantART. Congratulations Hunter, you really are a great guy and I'm glad to have had you as Mentor on the Community Volunteer team. I'm sure you'll do an awesome job.
With that, haldron will no longer be the volunteer for the Community Projects gallery. And I am excited to announce that I have taken over this role from him!
For the time being, I will be looking after both Community Projects and deviantART Related. Truth be told, I would love to keep it like this - but I am only one human being, and I have a full-time and a part time job and a life outside of that as well so I'm sure you'll understand that that wouldn't be feasible for the long term.
In discussion with moonbeam13 it was decided that I will keep Community Projects, and a spot for deviantART Related would be opened. If you love the dA community and are 18 or older I encourage you all to check this blog and apply! There are other positions open as well if dA related is not your thing.
Whichever you apply for, I can definitely recommend to give it a shot - it's a great opportunity that I have never regretted taking for a single moment 
On a personal note, I'm sad to leave behind dA related... I loved everything about being the Community Volunteer for this gallery. But I'm staying on the team and I'm very excited to take up Community Projects

This is just a basic overview for the beginning - this will become more refined as I truly get started and develop my plan further
Are you planning or running a project or contest? Let me know, and I can help you develop the plan, and help out with promotion, prizes etc. Do you have a group for a specific cause, or with a specific goal? I'll gladly help you with those as well! While they will not be my first priority, you can also suggest DDs to me! Besides the dA related galleries that I could already feature from, I can now also choose from the Community Projects category. (This does not include the 'Contests' and 'deviantWEAR Design Battles' categories, as submissions in those galleries cannot be featured as DD.) See my updated DD suggestion guildelines!
