The next thing Vic knew, he was in what look like the base of a tower, his headache even worse than before.
"Now where the hell are we?" Ed shouted.
"Don't you ever shut up, runt?" Ikkaku complained.
"Who're you calling a-"
"You're giving us all a headache!" Zero exclaimed, still covered in pudding and looking rather angry at the alchemist.
Looks like I'm not the only one, Vic thought.
"He's right, though. Where are we?" Michele interjected. Her comment was met with many suggestions, but no answers.
"Hey, where's Fai?" Yoshimori asked. Vic looked around, but Fai was nowhere in sight. Then, everything started to come together. This wasn't an ordinary tower, it was in the Valeria Country, Fai's home, and where his brother had died. Fai had been imprisoned at the base of the tower, but his brother was at the top. So maybe...
"Ed, can you make a staircase leading to the top?" Vic asked.
"Sure. I don't see why not," Ed replied clapping his hands together and slamming them on the floor. Moments later, a staircase was created.
"What's the plan?" Tamaki asked as he followed Vic up the stairs.
"It's just a hunch, but Fai might be up here," Vic replied quickening his pace. At this, everyone else followed swiftly. Everyone was exhausted when they reached the top.
"Why did the top have to be so far up?" Ed gasped. Vic ignored the alchemist and knocked lightly on the door.
"Fai? Are you in there?" he called. Without an answer, Vic turned the door knob as quietly as he could. It was unlocked and swung open with ease. Inside stood Fai. He didn't move as Vic and the others approached. Nor did he when Vic placed a hand on his shoulder. He didn't even blink.
"Fai? Are you alright?" Michele asked. Still no response came magician.
"I'm sorry. It's all my fault," Fai finally said to no one in particular.
"Nothing's your fault, Fai. What are you talking about?" Vic asked, confused. He turned around, only to see that many of the other characters he voiced were in this state.
"It's my fault you couldn't get you're body back, Al," Ed whispered.
"What's happening to them?" Michele asked, worried.
"I think they're in an illusion of some sort," Obito, who was for some reason uneffected, replied. "Maybe a genjutsu that brings back memories of their past."
"Then why aren't you affected?" Vic questioned. Obito shrugged.
"Maybe my sharingan's keeping it from affecting me. Anyway, what are we going to do about them?" Vic turned back to the victims of whatever this was.
"I don't know, but we better think of something fast."

Totally works. I like the situation you put them in!
Of course, I never finished Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles, so I don't know anything about his world either
