THS Nordanner Breeding Rules

WARNING!  This information is subject to change as it is needed.

Be sure to read THOROUGHLY through the rules before requesting a breeding.

Requesting a breeding:

-  You may NOT request a breeding if the reference on the horse says "not open for breeding".  If you ask when the answer is already given to you, you will not be allowed to ever have a breeding with that horse. The EXCEPTION being if you have a breeding slot exchange in mind.  In which case link me to the horse you want to exchange a slot for, and I will consider.

- When requesting a breeding NOTE me with the following information:

---- What you plan to do with the foal:

- YOU are responsible for drawing the breeding pic AND sending it in to Nordanner.  You may NOT design the foal until the breeding picture is submitted.  Once it is submitted, you can then design the foal, unless you want me too.  I must approve of the foal design when you upload it, so you have to link it to me ether through note or comment on my horses reference sheet.  


Prices:

Since my nordanners are at different levels, i can no longer price them all the same.  Different horses will be priced differently.  Some horses i'll accept 100% art payment for, others i will want 100% point payment, while other's i will accept a 50/50 split between art and points.  Prices will be worked out upon request of the breeding, but a rough estimate is:
Non-mutation horses: 200-500
Heterozygous-mutation horses: 600-1500 (depending on the mutation)
Homozygous-mutation horses: 1500-4000 (and maybe higher depending on the mutation)

I am also willing to breed people foals between two of my horses, but this will usually cost around 2000 for normal horses, and anywhere from 3000 to 8000 for mutations.  (If it is a double mutation, then it will be double the price of one mutation)


Other info:

- If you decide you no longer want the foal, you MUST give it back to me.  I might keep it, or I might give it to a friend.  If I decide to sell it for points you will get 50% of what I make.  

- If you are breeding the foal with the pure intent of turning around and selling it/selling it later in life, you MUST NOTIFY ME.  I get the chance to buy it from you for half price if I want to.  

- I get a free breeding with any foal from my horses if I want one.

- If there are twins from the breeding I get to keep one of my choosing.  

- If the foal is inactive for several months (4 months) I will give you a warning that you need to do something with it.  If the foal is inactive for another 30 days I will confiscate it and it will become mine.

- You may not use the foal until I have received 100% if the breeding payment.
