Fetlock on left foreleg, sock on right foreleg, partial pastern on right hind leg and stocking on left hind leg. All leg markings except the partial pastern are higher towards the back with very uneven borders due to sabino.

Personality: Guinevere might not be the biggest Nordanner around, but she has the attitude to make up for it. She is a brisk and mareish, but also a complete charmer. Guinevere can be an angel or the harbinger of doom depending on her day, and it’s impossible to stay mad at her once she looks innocently in your eyes and acts like she doesn’t know what makes you so frustrated.

Everybody loves Guinevere, but she sure doesn’t love everyone back. She can act nice, but she is also manipulative and mean in a sneaky way, slacking off and pretending not to notice the commands given to her. When she is with someone she likes, Guinevere is a wonderful horse with a lot of potential, but even then it takes some understanding and a good sense of humor to get along with her on a day to day basis. For a casual visit anyone can handle her – its long term when she starts to protest a handler or horse she feels is not quite her class.

Guinevere plays favorites, but her favorites also change in synch with her moods. She can be somewhat dull under saddle, especially if she doesn’t find the exercise to her liking. But when she warms up and gets into gear, she is a good worker and a real show off. She has high and showy movements, but easily over bends herself, and needs to be corrected. From the ground she is easier to handle and far more responsive.

Guin likes the company of other mares and particularly foals, but is a bit ill-tempered when around stallions. She is a big tease, but when the poor boy gets close, she rewards them with a sharp kick or bite – unless she really likes them, of course. One could say Guinevere enjoys stringing stallions around. Even with her habits she seldom gets into fights, and gets along well with most horses.
