Kid Veil and Gemini

During an informal brainstorm for season 2 episodes, Jess and I came up with an idea where Gemini gets her and her boyfriend turned into kids again (Gem maybe ~11 and Veil ~13). You might remember me drawing Kid!Veil from some time ago.

Even though season 02 episodes aren't our priority for the pitch, the idea really inspired me and I whipped these up that day while I was waiting for things to render at work (or was I in meetings all day? It's hard to tell. Rendering. Corporate Meetings. Same thing?).

So here's the specs:

11 year old Gemini dons gimmicky costume clothes and runs around the cruise ship she lives on pretending to be a batman-pirate-alien. Although she seeks adventure from interacting with (and sometimes annoying) the guests on the ship, she hardly leaves her cabin when the boat docks in harbor.


13 year old Veil eats by himself in the library and smokes behind the bleachers. He makes sure to lean back against the wall and take especially big puffs when people walk by (holding in coughs until they're gone). He makes straight A's, irons his uniform every morning, and is a perfect gentlemen to his teachers but prompts verbal and physical fights with his classmates.
