Literature Text

The fire is dying
But still trying
To brighten his flames
To strengthen his flames
To rise back to his game

Being fierce
As the ember pierces
In trying wood, but it overpowers
The dying flames and the wood towers
Over the fire's game

As the flames rage on
The wood falls like a cage on
A helpless victim
His flames lowered and the wood seeks to end him
The light disappears as the fire grows lame.
An old poem I did based on my war with depression. A short tale about a young boy fighting and then eventualy is defeated.

Anyone with depression can tell you it's never easy, and it's always a stuggle, even when told we are "cured". Beautiful illustration.
