Get a Feature! (closed)

One of the DA members I watch, has spread the idea of making journals featuring 3 artworks from different DA members!!


She got the idea from another member, and so it's like a chain reaction. After thinking about it for a while, I decided to follow that example, because it is a way to show art which, very often, stays unknown or unseen. It's not about being "popular" or getting features, but about sharing and exchanging.

WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO: SIMPLY COMMENT OR RESPOND TO THIS JOURNAL!
YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE A WATCHER TO PARTICIPATE - it's open to anyone who wants!

The first 15 people to respond to this journal by commenting it, will get a feature of 3 of their artworks!! And of course I encourage you to create similar journal entries!


1. , lovely writer and poet.
Most of her work has a touch of tragedy and melancholy, yet their is a certain strentgh to be found behind each word and rhyme, and a certain wisdom. She even writes about about movie/fantasy charachters!

2. , great painter and drawer.
He makes lovely watercolor landscapes and draws pretty much a bit of everything - fantasy, portraits, comics.... A great variety!



3. , really nice digital artist.
Her work turns mainly around fantasy subjetcs and comics, while her characters have a slight Manga aspect. All of her works are quite original and unique, its definitely worth to have a look at her gallery!

4. , writer and visual artist.
Her writing skills are quite amazing, I'm astonished of how she manages to tell something full of emotions in 6 words only!! A part from that, short and longer stories can be found in her gallery as well as some art and photogrpahy (do we have a Panda-lover here? )

TOO YOUNG.
Cancer The chocolate fairyOnce upon a time, about a bazillion years ago, there lived a most amazing fantastical creature – the chocolate fairy. She was a tiny little thing; with her small sparkly eyes, tiny little wand, a sprinkling of fairy dust and a delicate little breath that would create the most delectable chocolate that has ever been had by any person as long as the world has been.
One day, or so the story goes, a pompous prince wished to be the desire of every princess in all the land and captured her majesty the chocolate fairy (who was of course the queen of all the fairies - for her breath could create the most unfathomable joy to any creature who set their taste buds upon her work). He forced the fairy to work tirelessly so he could impart joy to every princess, telling them it was his fine work, recipe and the best chefs in the world that had created these dainties so that they would desire him forevermore.
However, he treated the fairy with callousness and did not give her the gratitude for h


5. , amazing traditional artist.
Although his gallery contains only a few artworks, each and one of them is amazing. Each bears a deep meaning and message, and the visual representation is fantastic! Definitly worth to stop by.



6. , another great traditional artist.
His work mainly presents illustration, characters and comics and some beautiful landscapes and figure studies. A great gallery!



7. , amazing art student, and unfortunatly way to few people have a look at his amazing art works.
He is mainly into illustration and people, characters, monsters and sceaneries ornate his gallery. His work is either colorful or contains just ink / pencil, but whatever he uses, the result is simply fantastic.



8. , photographer, drawer and writer!
There is archery, horses, nature - definitely an elvish character! She tries out a bit of everything and she's on the eternal quest to improve her art. What are you waiting for, go and give her some critics!

9. , drawer and photographer.
She made some powerful picture of nature, color is definetly playing a major role in her art. At the same time she makes some great drawings, which are simple and yet very beautiful.



10. , specialist in eyes-drawing!
The majority of her artwork is about...eyes! Not just eyes, but truely expressive eyes. And of course manga drawings, animals and other things are also present in her gallery.

11. , master of papercraft.
These little paper-figures are really nice, and now this is something I haven't seen a lot on DA. Let's welcome our new DA member and give him some support!



12. , great old friend and "Mass Effect"-addict.
In case you are not familiar with Mass Effect, like me, well it's a game about... something with aliens and humans. Accordingly, Nyhgault's gallery is full of characters from there, but some really neat drawings and many customed bookmarks can also be found.

13. , a great fan of computer games.
And his gallery proves it, as you can discover many differents characters of different games.
The Queen And The Commander (My Post)

   King Alistair stopped one of the servants in his way and asked:
   - Do you know where the queen is?
   - Probably in her chambers, your majesty- replied the man, with a reverence.
   Following this direction, Alistair reached a double beautifully decorated door and opened one of the door leaves after knocking gently with his knuckles. He heard two female voices while crossing a small room beside the bedroom. There, the queen was sitting at a boudoir, while one of her ladies helped her to comb. Seeing him through the mirror, the queen smiled.
   - It's ok, Jurina, you can leave us- she said, standing.

14. , amazing traditional artist.
Her lovely gallery is full of original characters, varying from color to black and white in her unique style.



15. , colorful traditional artist.
The first thing that happens when you access her impressive gallery is an explosion of colors, and of skulls!



Closing note:
I really enjoyed making this journal, browsing through your galleries, and trying to find only 3 artworks to feature. I also met many new fellow DA members, and in overall it was a great experience. Thank you all for having participated!!!
