This... i don't even know what this is. To sum it up, i heard a bit of the Torchwood soundtrack, i don't even know which bit, and it brought this image to my mind.
So, anyway, let me try to explain. Once again, i'M fan-arting, once again sucked in by the stories of Sister-to-the-Queen: Love fills a hole in the heart, Broken Treasure, and of course Crucible.
The idea was/is... well, those two always find each other in some way, no matter what species/sphere of existence/shape they are in... And whatever it is that binds them, it's in every freaking version of the whole Multiverse, and it can never be broken.
P.S.: experimenting with different sorts of wings is fun!

I'll just second everything Sister-to-the-Queen said. All of it.
It's amazing. You're not a master of drawing (yet) - I mean, obviously there's little problems with technique and anatomy and proportions and such, but the way you still manage to capture the essence of the scene, capture it precisely the way it's supposed to be - I mean, that's what anatomy and proportions and technical skill and all those other things are FOR, as tools to achieve that kind of effect with reliability. But here, it's just... already there. Beautiful. I think the one from Broken Treasure is my favourite because of the sheer, understated yet expressive perfection of Azi's body language there, and the beautiful, almost stylised and iconic looking wings there. Gorgeous. Who do I have to kill to make you draw stuff for MY fic, huh?
