Gypsy's entry for the Winter Wonderland Show!
Gypsy was excited. She saw the trailer up ahead and couldn't wait to get on.
When they reached the show grounds, she practically unloaded herself! She was so ready, she was going to work! She was finally going to jump like the others!
Meadow Ridge's newest trainer, Ava, would be Gypsy's partner. Ava specialized in training foals and yearlings, and even though Gyspy was a little old for her, she was right up her alley. Gypsy needed a confident but kind handler, and Ava was just that.
Gypsy was so excited in the show ring, it took all her willpower not to paw the ground in anticipation. She watched the first horse leave to the rail, and her head fell low. They weren't jumping.
It was her turn to go. Ava brought Gypsy out to the rail, and asked her to trot. The mare halfheartedly picked up the trot, dragging behind Ava. She had had higher hopes for the day...
Uhoh...Gypsy wants to jump!!!
