Unframed-Nature's 'Baby Nature' Contest

Welcome to Unframed-Nature's "BABY NATURE" Contest Results!



We had about 140 entries to this challenging, but beautiful contest to show whatever "baby types" of Nature we could find, in the Springtime.

This was not an easy contest for our judges to take on, considering they were judging on both quality and theme alike, and these entries really had both of these down, very well!!

I can't thank our judges enough for doing such a great and amazing job!

[I hope to be able to acknowledge our wonderful judges more specially, at a later time... ]

And believe me when I say, our Admins., worked very very hard on this Contest!!
It's not easy, at all...

OPENS: July 1st and
CLOSES: July 31st along with our 5 regular folders.
One Entry per MEMBER.
All-Media Welcome that would fit this theme.
For Example: Photography, Manips., Digital, Traditional, Animation, Fractals, ...
as long as it is Nature that is in BLACK & WHITE.

NO muted tones, sepias, tints, colour-selections. Stick to the THEME.
This theme is pretty black and white.

You May Submit, ANYTHING that you would normally submit to ANY of our  five regular folders, as long as it follows our Group’s regular rules!

2014: This is the 3rd year of the project. There are many people supporting it, featuring it in their journal and offering art. BUT... There have been NO trees planted for it in the last year (I don't count mine). So, instead of talking about it, how about getting up and actually planting a tree, if you are able to? There is a lot of wonderful art waiting for you as a reward!
Trees are important, valuable and necessary to our very existence. It's not too hard to believe that, without trees we humans would not exist on this beautiful planet. Trees are the largest and longest living organisms on earth. To grow tall the tree has become a miracle of engineering and a complex chemical factory. It is able to take water and

Away Message From Founder

This is just to let you know... that I will need to be off of dA and the internet from
July 2 - July 12th or 13th.  

I have two main reasons for it, which are being combined into this one time period.

I will be spending most of the rest of my times that I am on dA, from now and until then, informing all the rest of my groups, especially my fellow admins., and finishing up the rest of my commitments that I have in these certain Groups, and making arrangements for while I am away in these certain Groups... [a few of my groups, like this one, are quite heavy in responsibility, etc. ]

I thought I'd give you all, here, the first heads up, since it's getting so close already.

I will give my fellow-admins., here, just a bit more info. soon, and they will be fine, and do wonderfully as always, of course.

And everything shall carry on, and be great!
