Name: Gabriel Lockhart

Personality:

The gravekeeper of Styx's graveyard and Lyra's right hand man. Gabriel obeys Lyra without protest and the amount of affection respect, loyalty and admiration he holds towards her would lead him to even give up his life for her, if the situation deemed necessary. Usually a calm and collected man who's grin alone is capable of sending shivers down most people's spines, this leading to a fair number of the students of the Manor feel intimidated by him and in some cases, even fearing him. However,throughout the tournament Gabriel's state of mind has been slowly deteriorating, paranoia and suspicion constantly taking over his thoughts, leading him to distrust greatly of those who try to approach him. This, combined with the stress of both of his jobs, have caused the man's behavior to take an abrupt turn, as well; contrary to being cold and manipulative as he used to be, Gabriel is now more reserved and quiet, his tempter easily triggered by the smallest of things making him get irritated easily, even by those who dare bother him for unimportant matters. Lyra's change in behavior towards the man has also affected him greatly, making Gabriel constantly (at times desperately) look for ways to earn her approval once more.


Brief History:

A bastard child raised in one of Senka city's orphanages. While growing up Gabriel was constantly mistreated by the matron and children of the orphanage, mainly due to his strange eye color (which, until now, he had chosen to keep hidden by using contacts), making him fall victim to cruel jokes and insults by those around him. Because of this, as a child Gabriel was quiet and reserved, preferring to distance himself from others as much as he could, often sneaking out and exploring the area around the orphanage. Reaching his early teens and after a series of events that happened at the household, Gabriel was finally able to run away along with Ramona, who he had befriended a year earlier. He lived on the streets for a short period before managing to end up in the town of Styx, where he then ended up working and under the "care" of the current gravekeeper of the town's graveyard. Years later Gabriel would take the man's place as the gravekeeper, once he mysteriously disappeared on night and there being no one else to take the job but Gabriel.

Later on a pair of runaways stumbled into his graveyard, Cain and Abel ([link], who had damaged his property and as payment Gabriel made them work under his wing, until all damages were repaid. However, once the boys paid their dept Gabriel decided to take them in as his subordinates and they have remained that way until today.

A couple of years passed and one day a mysterious cloaked woman came to the graveyard. When Gabriel approached her and exchanged a not-so-friendly-conversation which her (and basically insulted the person she had apparently come to grieve), said woman punched him in the face and later revealed herself as Lyra Nightingale. It wasn't long after that encounter that Lyra came back to his grounds and requested for Gabriel to be her assistant, and he gladly accepted without second thoughts.



POKEMON

Name: Ramona
Species: Murkrow
Gender: Female
Nature: Gentle/ Alert to sounds
Moveset: Perish song | Confuse Ray | Aerial ace| Screech
Personality: Ramona rarely, rarely speaks, even around Gabriel. She is very calm and has the curiosity of a Purrloin and contrary to her owner, the Murkrow likes to befriend anyone she comes across, if possible, and she is very friendly to strangers. That is, of course, if they do not show any possible threat. Gabriel is somewhat overprotective of her, but he does give Ramona her space. However, if one would dare harm even one feather on the bird that person will most likely be condemned to a horrible fate at the gravekeeper's hands.

Misc: Ramona was Gabriel's first Pokemon. She had been injured by a Purrloin when Gabriel came across her and the boy did not hesitate to take her in and nurse her to health. After her recovery, Gabriel had given her the chance to leave, however, Ramona had grown so attached to the boy that she decided to never leave his side. The bond she shares with the man is a strong one and Gabriel would often demonstrate his love for the bird by pampering her



Name: Eden
Species: Zoroark*
Gender: Female
Nature: Sassy/ Likes to fight
Moveset: Flamethrower | Night daze | Dig | Shadow Claw

Personality:A sassy Zoroark who will not say no to a fight. She strives to keep becoming stronger and will often go to the forest of Fae to train, whenever Gabriel is not available to do so. She takes shit from no one and if you get on her bad side you best expect her claws on your throat, especially if she thinks that you are insulting her or calling her weak.


Name: Benedict
Species: Chandelure
Gender: Male
Nature: Jolly/ Capable of taking hits
Moveset: Flamethrower | Energy ball | Protect | Shadow ball

Personality: Ben seems to always be in a cheerful mood, especially when it comes to torturing some poor soul for his own sadistic amusement (one of his favorite pastimes being burning his victims). This is why Gabriel keeps him most of his time in his Mirage Ball and this being one of the reasons of why Ben highly dislikes the gravekeeper. The only reason he stays with him is because of Cain, who, apparently, has more control over the Chandelure than Gabriel himself.



Name: Cain
Species: Haunter
Gender: Male
Nature: Impish/ Impetuous and Silly
Moveset: Shadow ball | Thunderbolt | Hypnosis | Double team

Personality: Cain is a dim "child" who likes to tag along with Benedict or Cheshire and cause mischief from time to time. However, most of the time Cain cannot grasp the idea that some of his actions are, in fact, bad and that most of the time all he does is bring harm upon others when he has "fun".

Next to Ramona, Cain is the only Pokemon in Gabriel's team who shares a very close bond with the man and genuinely likes him; which is why whenever Ben tries to harm the Gabriel, Cain is the only thing stopping the Chandelure from eating the gravekeeper's soul. He also has the habit of speaking rhymes, as a result from spending a lot of time around Cheshire, who he's very close to as well and will often be seen hanging around the gengar.

Misc: Recently Cain lost his left eye in an encounter with Jake Nightfurrow's Pokemon. Whether it will regenerate is still in question, even by the Haunter.
