Dear Diary

Vision: Okay, let me just say that the whole Fluttershy being shy thing is really played out at this point. Not that I don't find it cute at times, but there are more aspects of her personality that could be explored.

Originality: Again, Not much originality here. I do like the idea of Fluttershy keeping a diary, but this would have been the perfect time to show her pouring out her soul. Just her being as shy as always makes her seem much more two dimensional than she really is.

Technique: Good vector work, and I like how you did the mane over one eye like that. The one problem is that you didn't draw feather lines on her wings, but that's a small nit that's barely worth breaking out the steel comb for.

Impact: I will admit that I chuckled a little when I first saw this, but after letting it sink in I saw it for the predictable response for what it really was.

Overall: A bit of a flop in my mind, but it had a few bright shining moments that helped redeem it somewhat. Call me biased, but I love Fluttershy so I'm a little harsher on people who don't factor in every aspect of her personality as it has bee revealed in the show. Just some more thought on all that she is could have helped this piece be truly great. Keep up the good work, and let's see something awesome come out of you further down the line!
