Pony version of me

Returning to my Equestria dreamscape. Over the next couple of dreams, this covered about 5 days in dreamtime, my condition improved and Charity Hooves [link] started to let me go outside under the supervision of either herself or Petina [link] . Petina so loved that concept. She can be such a control freak at times. I was just happy because I finally got a chance to get outside and see Ponyville and meet more ponies.

Also as my condition improved I was able to start taking more care of myself. At least when it came to matters of personal hygiene. Although I was still learning the most basic aspects of levitation control so Petina had to brush my back. Oh well, there are worse fates. This also gave me a better a chance to really look at myself in the mirror and see what kind of pony I was. My markings seem to be very much like those of the unicorn who I blame for getting me roped into this. Paynes Gray [link] . Unfortunately I didn't look as studly as Paynes does, but Petina Pony thinks I'm still cute in that adorkable kind of way.

This new dreamscape was very disorienting at first, but I was growing more accustomed to it. Although it was still odd having an Andur dream and then turning around and have a dream in Ponyville in the span of an evening. Kind of like switching channels on the TV with radically different programming on them.

Fortunately my improving condition let me partake in my first pony festival. The Annual Ponyville Kite Flying Festival which takes place every year over the span of about two days. It is a general holiday and everyone gets it off. In the pastures and fields around Ponyville the air was filled with the sight of brightly colored paper kites and the sound of laughter and singing. Pavilions were set up in the fields and there was all kinds of food and drink to be had. This was particularly enjoyable since one of the things that made these Equestria dreams so vivid was that I could smell and taste things in these dreams. Very often I only have sight, sound and touch. Here I had full immersion. Of course I had no bits to my name but Charity bought me and Petina a kite so we could go fly it.

There were competitions for the highest flying kite. The most beautiful kite. The most skillful kite flying, and most unusual or original kite. Pinkie Pie is apparently the regular winner of that class and she continued her winning streak this year by some how making a kite out of a cast iron frying pan.

The Pegasus ponies were in charge of the judging the various competitions. To make certain that they could clearly see all the contestants kites they made certain that every cloud around Ponyville was moved away. This had a couple added benefits.

One of the benefits of moving all the clouds resulted in there being a pleasant steady breeze which made for good kite flying. Second it guaranteed a couple days of steady sunshine right as several important crops are ripening. These crops were picked soon after the festival. This extra sunshine was usually responsible for contributing to a good harvest year after year. Later I found out from Applejack that it was Princess Celestia who originally proposed the festival.
