So yesterday was national dance day and I was able to go with my students as a field trip. At my work there is 10 staff members and only 3 are able to go to the field trip so what we did was put each of our names into a bowl to see who gets to go and I really want to go to take pictures of the event. So when I got picked to go I was happy, I was going to take as many pictures as I could.

So the day of National Dance Day I was rushing to get ready because I had to wake up early in the morning and let me tell you I'm not an early bird at all! lol so I got up a little late and I was grabbing my stuff shoved everything I needed into my backpack that I took with me and said OKAY I have everything, my camera and both lens YES! Well I get to the school to wait for my student to get there and wait for the bus I got there in pretty good time. The bus get there kinda late but it was all good. Once we are in the bus Ivonne the other SC like me texted me to take tones of picture for her and I told her don't worry I brought my big camera with me to take tones of picture. So I thought I would takes some of the kids in the bus to when I went to take the picture I notice something flashing on my screen can you guys guess what I forgot THE DAM MEMORY CARD! I was soooo mad with myself for forgetting to put the memory card back in my camera and that meant I wouldn't be able to take pictures with my camera so now I was going to lugging around my heavy camera with me from 9:30 am- 5:00 pm.

However, not having a working camera I still had fun at Grand Park where they hosted National Dance Day, I also met some people there. I met Jennifer Veal she mostly known for her role on Disney channel for playing a nanny on the show called Jessie, I have never seen the show but my students went crazy when they saw her. I also met Nigel Lythgoe the producer of American Idol and So Do You Think You Can Dance, both Jennifer Veal and Nigel Lythgoe are very nice and very sweet to the kids. Jennifer Veal was dancing and hanging out with my student during the hip-hop dance and the warm up. There were many more gust people there but we did not get to met them but it was fun to just to be able to see them like Mary Murphy, Little C, Adam Shankman, Lauren Gottlieb, and Stacey Tookey.

All in all I have to say it was great and amazing time and I know my student just LOVED it! They were talking about it the whole ride back to the school and when their parents got there they were just going on and on about who they met. Also we might end up on TV not 100% sure thing but I work for LA'S BEST so we might end on the video package for the show  So Do You Think You Can Dance, so keep on eye out for that
