Forbidden Book Study Night

Rainbow Dash and Twilight Sparkle team up again, this time f- .... well, nevermind. For the week 58, an occult pony.

Yeah my first thought was tentacle pony. Never thought I'd end up drawing something like this, but there we go. To be honest I had a lot of fun with this one.

I tried the eyes in a simple style since that was how I drew it in the sketch, and Twilight's expression was perfect- but I don't think it came out too well.

This is also my first drawing to include atmospheric shading/lighting, if you discount Living Depths which may or may not count.

This is actually two separate sketches shopped together- Dash in one and Sparkle in the other. I originally just drew Dash but I noticed an oddly perfect space set between her front tentacles and.... yeah.
