Zoisite

So when posted in their journal the other day about unused stock, I declared that challenge as accepted!

With the uber-exciting news of a new Sailor Moon anime next year I have been reminiscing about my favorite characters in the series. Of course, only one character reigns supreme in my opinion...

Zoisite, who will always be one of my greatest muses. I will never forget my denial when I first heard that Zoycite was indeed a man. After all, I thought "she" was a kick ass character, and it was nice to see a confident (okay, conceited XD) and powerful female (yeah...) character. To this day I still separate my female "Zoycite" from the male "Zoisite"... and I still see them as one awesome character regardless of dubbing-neutering.

Anyway! I hadn't drawn Zoisite in a very, very long time and with the challenge for unused stock, my little drawing muse kicked into full gear. This piece was drawn and inked by hand, then scanned, cleaned up and painted in Photoshop CS 6. I haven't done anything in Photoshop in forever and it was quite a memory test!
