Hello people!

First of all, let me just thank you for all the sweet comments, I'm still going through my inbox and I have so many to reply to! I'm replying to everyone, maybe a bit slowly. I know that there are some people who asked some questions, I'll answer to them, don't think I forgot them!

I also wanted to give a BIG thank you to all the new watchers! I'm already on the 501 watchers and I'm so damned happy. I usually thank everyone, because it makes me feel happy to thank and to know a bit more about each of you.

I also wanted to say this again. I'm now the Co-Founder of and the group is new (it was founded two weeks ago) and we are very pleased with the activity on it. The group already has 103 members in only 2 weeks, so it's slowly growing. If you want to join, feel free. We would be honored to have you as a member.

Now, finally the reason of this journal! What is Cracked Gear after all? O_o

Cracked Gear is the official name of a story me and my friend Ailda are working on together.


It features Louise, my OC, and Luca, Anna's OC. This story happens in the Steampunk era, in an Utopian city called Dâmaris, divided by classes: The Dives (Rich), The Medii (Medium) and The Pauper (Poor)  – the last ones are excluded from the other two, and they live across a well guarded gaited bridge, so no one can go in or out by free will.

Louise Eleonor Spiller Hawkins III - Louise is a stuborn, spoiled 16 years old girl that lives in the luxury of the rich part of the city, exclusive just to those with biggest status and wealth. She lives in a mansion with her mother, her brother, and more servants than she can count with her fingers.
During her early childhood, an incident happened, causing her father's death, and marking her forever with scars in her face and burns on the left side of her body.

On a plus side to her character, she's something akin to an inventor, always wanting to do stuff in random hours, hence not leaving her bag with the tools, where she also keeps a very secret notebook.





Luca Elliot Ares Holster - Luca is a middle class – and very lazy – 16 years old boy that spends his life napping or inventing stuff. He restored an abandoned factory in the "filthy part", as his parents call it, of the town, and that's where he works on his inventions - specially a very unique plane - unconsciously following the person that 'saved' his arm years ago in an accident; the same accident, that made him deaf on his right side.

Due to his prosthetics arm, his skinny constitution, and his fame for being bisexual, it's very hard for him to find a job to sustain his inventions budget, hence the need of a creation of an alter-ego that goes by the name of Crystal Malin Heane, and works in a bar at night.
