By my definition, doubt is a internal conflict of one's mind. Therefore this one fits under the conflict theme.

This picture is so much derailed from my original idea, so I've decided to experiment a little bit.
Firstly it was meant to be my OC's back of the head looking on Trixie and Fluttershy and he couldn't choose any of them and the ways they represent.
Secondly it was meant to be like this with those usual good and evil figures giving "advices".
And lastly here we are. I've been posting this on chat and how it looks different from what I usually do. That's where I decided to finish it that way. I've saved atleast 2 hours of routine drawing and tried something different.
I'm back to drawing colorful ponies next time, I swear.
