Thriving on Fear

Asmodeus, like other Dark Princes, thrive on the fear that consumes people right into their souls. The more fear that is struck in the people, the more strong a powerhold he can claim as a king.
Background depicts one of the innumerable vistas one can view part of the city-the capital of the kingdom. It is a purely Gothic Germanic styled city, and the ambiance is more doleful, acerbic, and grim than Tim Burton on steroids mixed with an intense Goethe.
To further accentuate the fear, there are constant executions, hence the three hanging corpses in the city square in the corner.
