EqD ATG II - Day 9 - Video Game Pony

"Fly me to the moon and let me play among the stars..."

My entry for day 9 of Equestria Daily's Artist Training Grounds II. The brief was to draw a pony dressed as a character from your favourite video game, movie or book. This was simply crying out for a Luna/Bayonetta crossover - as characters they share some similar themes: moon-based imagery; flowing magical hair; returning to the modern world after centuries of confinement. Plus it was a good opportunity to draw her ridiculous and intricate costume.

Update: This picture, as well as the previous day's piece, made it into EqD's Drawfriend #539 post (pictures 25 and 38 respectively). I didn't submit them myself, so it's flattering to think they caught someone else's attention enough to warrant inclusion!
