The next speedpaint challenge (or i prefer to call it study group).
Theme of this month is Folds and Fabrics.
Therefore i searched explicitly for different materials and pictures with some folds.
The emphasis should be on the fabrics. So feel free to ignore the background and faces and instead try to get a feel for the difference between silk and velvet and a non shining textile as well as leather and jeans.
Watch out how the light reflects and how the different fabrics will form wrinkles and folds.
I can just hope i made a good selection and say thank you to all who provides links with interesting references.
The rules are as usual:
2 hours speedpaint to focus on the important stuff.
No tracing and no color picker.
Please regard the stock rules of the reference pictures - most stock provider really like to see how their work is used - even for studies.
The goal is to finish one study every 3 days so we will be finished with this at the end of the month.
