Reader's P.O.V.

"I do hope he comes home soon I miss him terribly," I said pacing around the house cleaning it for Arthur when he gets home.

"Lass he'll be fine. Yes he lost America but…"

"Alfred," I corrected him. Really I wish they would use his real name instead of the country's.

"Fine lassie, Alfred he lost him but he'll get over it soon I promise," He stated at me. Somehow that doesn't make me feel better I mean after Semus, Dalyn, and Ian moved out he was heartbroken, they are still his older brothers but not Alfred he gained his independence and is no longer part of the Kirkland family.

"I just hope that git doesn't come home drunk," I look down sadly at the plushie in my hands that I have almost finished.

BANG BANG THUMP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ian and I jumped at the noise and run to the front door. Arthur is home!! But he's drunk and laying on the floor. Ian went and helped him up only to have Arthur cry and curse out loud. It breaks my heart.

"I've done …..hic.. the wank….hic…. bloody hell Ian I can walk!!!!!!"

"No brother you can't and you're making the lass worry about you more.."

"I can do the bloody… hic… hell I want!!!!!! Oh ello poppet!!!!!!" THUMP!!!

We stare at him passed out on the floor. Ian takes him up to his room and lays him in bed. I sit back down and finish making the stuffed mint green bunny. I feel weight sit next to me on the couch.

"Lass I know you think that you two are destined for each other but I'm telling you this. (Name) you can't stay with him its only going to hurt ye."

"What am I to do Ian I can't leave him. He's in pain, I've been with him through everything when I found him, when you all left him everything. Pirate, punk, magic I've been through it all with him!!!" by this time Ian lifts up my face and wipes my tears.

"I know lass I know. (Name) now listen to me aye. I love ye more than anyone got it so if you're going to stay with him then don't expect him to love you the same." He kissed my forehead and got up and went to the front door. "I really love you and I'll wait for ye (Name)," and with that I heard the softest slam ever in my life. Crying now I hold myself close trying to process what had happened.
