Yashica A with hood

This is a Yashica A, a twin lens reflex (TLR) camera made during the 60s and 70s. In a TLR, the top of the two lenses on the front is used for viewing and the lower lens takes the photo; this works great, as long as your subject is more than 15 feet away, but closer than that and parallax can become a problem. This one is 100% original and 100% functional. It has been cleaned, lubricated and adjusted. Yashica A TLRs seem to work best at f/11 or f/16 rather than at f/8 (where most TLRs shoot best). This one has an old Tiffen lens hood (painted black with epoxy).
