Yeah, still a pegasis, apparently.
So, I have feels about the ponies. I feel even stonger, however, about bullying, excluding people and people failing to understand that not everyone is white, cis, straight, and able bodied. My issue here is with the first attribute of that list.
When I first started cautiously approaching this wonderful phenomenon of basically everybody being in awe of little girl's cartoon series, what made the biggest impression on me was that the fans seemed to have taken to heart the slogan "friendship is magic". It seemed to me that bronies were nicer to each other than purist tolkienists that hated on LotR fans that only found the fandom after the movies, or slightly older (?) Harry Potter fans that complained about tweens writing (admittedly ooc) über romantic Harry/Draco stories.
Then I found out that there apparently is a need in dA for separate groups for humanized pony art where the ponies can be pictured as non-white, because those pictures are not accepted to the other groups. And that a picture of black Twilight Sparkle together with hijab wearing Fluttershy causes a major shitstorm in some parts of the internet. Sons and daughters, I am dissappoint.
So look at these, and tell me these are not valid headcanons, if you dare.

tiny revelations
it's been a year since i last drew comics on a daily basis. i miss it.
on another note, i have a job now. i work part-time at an after-school club.
terri-ble/fic graduation
i'm graduating tomorrow. today, when i came home i felt absolutely terrified about finding work and life in general. now, a few unfinished e-mails and notes-to-self later, i feel – still scared, but more first-day-of-junior-high scared than i-can-not-see-beyond-this-dark-wall-that-is-tomorrow scared. also a bit thrilled. i'm a grown-up lady now!
hello again
my old computer broke down. it was so old that fixing it wouldn't have made sense, so i bought a new one. everything works brilliantly and i can once again upload art here.
i'm not sure how often i'm going to come by, though. i'm graduating later this month and if i'm lucky i'll get a job after that and i don't know how much time i'll have to draw. i have recently decided to stop actively drawing my webcomic too, so there won't be any comic pages either. (i might get back to it in time, but i doubt that.)

siis mikä tää poniasia on, sivistä mua vähän? tarkoitan siis yleisesti koko brony(??)-ilmiötä, en ihonväriin liittyvää kiistaa.. muistan toki muoviponit kultaiselta 80-luvulta ja kuinka onnessaan sitä oli kun setä toi ameriikasta turkoosin uutuusponin jolla oli amme ja suihku, mutta en ole koskaan nähnyt yhtään piirrettyä - johonkin mlp-sarjaan ilmeisesti tämä innostus perustuu, vai..?
