Ikezawa sketch

I feel like this should go without saying, but for the sake of clarity, I'll say it anyways: This is not a pony.

It's been about five years since I've tried drawing anything vaguely human-shaped.
Well.. calling what I do "drawing" might be overly generous. I have no actual skill; all I have is an abundance of reference images, erasers, stubbornness, and spare time.

Still, I'm not about to argue with the results. As someone commented on my "Oatfest" drawing while I was in line to get it autographed, "I've seen people with much less skill who are way more proud" (though again: not actual skill).

I'm not convinced that cross-hatching was the best way to handle the scars, but I think it gets the general idea across.
Also, her nose (such as it is) is off-center, and I HATE drawing frilly things.
Which is a shame, because I like frilly things.

Still, I think the most important part is that the hat turned out well. I would've been crushed if I screwed that up.
