Deviation Actions
Artists join deviantART to share their art and appreciate others. Due to the many artists out there, it's easy to get towed under and generally obscured from the public.
Make a Difference aims to do exactly that. This series of articles will hopefully make a difference to you as well as the artists featured weekly. Just by giving one minute of your time to write constructive comments, favourites and even watches will make a difference to these artists.
's animals, plants and nature photography is truly stunning. The tones further the impact if the subject matter doesn't itself, but all in all, the execution is just brilliant in many of the pieces taken.

There is a great sincerity and honesty in tanya3286's beautiful literature, inviting us to read and engage not only with the people within the pieces, but the overall story told.
"The one who gave her away that day was not her father, it was a mutual friend. No one from her side of the family even attended the wedding. She had stepped out of the women's hostel that day, confident and sure and walked into his life …and made it a walk to remember forever. "
"The rain clouds too have come and gone, away with their tedious heady storms.
The mud had dried on our boots and crumbled to dust."
"I used to rest my head on your shoulders, as you traced the curves of my face with your fingertips. Our breaths used to be the only sound we heard. I understood then that soul mates could sit for hours without the need to exchange words. "

creates a fantastic variety of art where concept and subject matter are concerned. Many of the digital art pieces are painted wonderfully, really showing the skill and talent needed to produce such fantastic works.

Underneath the WillowThe old man sat there, underneath the willow that always kept him company.~ An extract from Underneath the Willow
At a glance he seems as if he is lost in thoughts, perhaps even asleep… sitting there in his old weather worn, wooden folding chair. But his eyes are open, barely a slit... but open, they were as he gazed upon the name on the moss gathered headstone.
It was snowing… and amidst the dancing flakes of downy whites, she had walked up the aisle, like an elusive snow fairy. She was not the most beautiful woman around; neither the perfect homemaker but she did what few men even had the courage to do back then.

The waltzing snowflakes looked just like the rice that had cascaded down around them in a joyous shower on that day.

Remember us...Dear Y,~ An extract from Remember us...
There are some moments in life which we dread and wish will never be upon us...
It seems only yesterday that we met in the fields of green and sat beneath the sun in the dappled shade of trees.
The rain clouds too have come and gone, away with their tedious heady storms.
The mud had dried on our boots and crumbled to dust.
I love you, yet you seem not the one from yesterday or maybe I have changed. Sometimes when two souls live together for so long that separation seems too incredible to fathom.
But if I were to go on loving you, as is my heart's desire; I must leave...
Remember us,
and so farewell...

Excuses to fall in LoveDo you remember those times we spent together, when love was in the air?~ An extract from Excuses to fall in Love
When every spring seemed to be full of flowers and summer was breezy. When monsoons came with passionate thunderstorms, and sweet smelling rain and winters meant warm embraces and lingering kisses.
There was a special seat for us in the park where we used to go. A creeping, blossoming bower that filtered the rays of the sun, as if to let lovers be cradled in the gentle laps of breeze. The winds carried the fragrance of a myriad of blossoms, warm and calm. I used to rest my head on your shoulders, as you traced the curves of my face with your fingertips. Our breaths used to be the only sound we heard. I understood then that soul mates could sit for hours without the need to exchange words.
Monsoon used to be my most anticipated season, when we used to sit and get drenched in the carefree downpour. The way your lips tasted of raindrops and the scent of wet earth. We used to sit and kiss for hours, as if w

Magic Week - Reverse Caption
The power flowed into him, filling his lungs, spreading out in his blood like oxygen, and settling into the marrow of his bones. He felt himself smile in a way that he hadn't since he was a boy learning to cast his first spell. He had devoted decades to the study of magic, but now, now he was magic. A glow lit the trees around him. He couldn't be sure if it was the setting sun, or if the glow came from his own skin. A beetle crawled on the ground nearby, seemingly unconcerned with what it had just witnessed, but yet its movements were in time with his heartbeat. A bird in the sky flapped its wings to the same rhythm. A breeze plucked at his hair and clothes. He began to dance, slowly at first; he followed the wind, and the wind followed him. He moved faster, twirling and leaping, until even the fallen leaves were dancing around him. When he stopped, all was still. He smiled again, and raised his arms to the sky. The first stars were visible. He watched them for a long
