The official entry period begins from the moment this blog is published until Sunday, September 2, 2012 11:59pm (Zulu). Late entries accepted, see Contestant Rules below.

To enter and win:

• You must leave a link in the comments below to your "I Love Me" Gallery Folder (FAQ #762: What is the Gallery Folders Feature and how do I use it?).
• Submit two pictorial deviations of "I Love Me"

Sizes: 8.5"x11" and B"x11" (any visual medium--size B depends on the binder size you choose: 1", 2" or 3").

Must include the words "I Love Me"

Artist's Comments provides a link to this blog (this step confirms competition entry--no link, no prizes)

• Complete all Self Appreciation Month Objectives (see below).

Self Appreciation Month Objectives:

Complete the following tasks within their respective week:

Week 1: Sept 3 - Sept 9, 2012
Gather all your favorite--worked your ass off to make it perfect--works of art on dA and copy it to your "I Love Me" Gallery folder. Submit your absolute best, add more artwork if your best is not yet on dA. Edit the Artist Comments of your chosen works and include "I Love Me for This" and if you're compelled to, explain why.

Week 2: Sept 10 - Sept 16, 2012
Write a letter to yourself detailing your most exemplary accomplishment. Recollect what it was like living your moment of triumph. Did you struggle? Was it fairly easy for you? How did you overcome your obstacles? Maximum 500 words.

Week 3: Sept 17 - Sept 23, 2012
Use the artistic medium of your choosing to project future goals you expect to accomplish. These goals can be moments or years into the future, be creative and honest. Explain the meaning behind your artistic creation in your Artist's Comments: What are the goals you hope to complete, when?

Week 4: Sept 24 - Sept 30, 2012
Create an "I Love Me" book using a three-ring binder (suggested: 1", 2" or 3"). The binder should be filled with plastic protective sleeves to shield your pages. Fill the sleeves with all your awards, newspaper clipping, even your work from the previous SAM objectives (above) and let this binder serve as your reminder of what you're capable of achieving. Once created, take a photograph of yourself holding your "I Love Me" book, featuring your 8"x11" and B"x11" entry artwork (see 'To Enter' above).

Contestant Rules

• Participants must be a member of deviantART--membership is free.
• Submissions must be made to 'I Love Me' Folder in participants gallery for voting.
• Deviations created for this competition must be submitted within their specified week--late entries will be penalized.
• Those entering the competition after Sept 10, 2012 (end of Week 1) will be penalized for late entry.
• All Deviants are welcome to participate, including dA staff and Contest Sponsors.
