District One

I just decided to draw my own Hunger Games character, and I picked District 1 (luxury items) for her district.

She isn't a career, however. She belongs to one of the wealthier families in the already wealthy district, and has never taken out tesserae. No one in the family has ever been a tribute. In fact, she isn't even standing among the other children during the reaping. Instead, she is allowed to sit with her family in the audience, so it was a huge shock when her name was drawn from the bowl.
I came up with all that while I drove in a half-asleep stupor to school this morning. Just for this drawing.
