FBR: Pear (Request)

This is Pear, one of the Fruity Bunny Rangers created and designed by ~RedWolf246 and *rickeyracoon123. The FBR are an even dozen of highly skilled female fighters, each of which is themed after a specific fruit.

Pear is proof you don't have to adhere to beauty cliches to be a heroine. Able to shoot both right- and left-handed, she never misses her target when firing arrows. She can also summon a flurry of leaves, either to conceal herself or to slice opponents. And if she clouts you on the head with her quarterstaff (not pictured), your head will be ringing for days.

This morning when I checked my deviantWATCH messages, I had a notification that today was the last day to enter this contest: [link]. =Kxhara is hosting "A 'Fat' Female Superhero" contest to challenge the perception that only "beautiful" (aka, ridiculously idealized) women would be accepted as superheroines. (The deadline is midnight, Pacific time, today - September 17 - if any of you want to submit some last-second entries )

I was almost finished with Pear at that point, and one of the things I like best about Pear is she's a sturdily-built character. It actually seems believable that a smack from her could level an opponent. On top of that, she has glasses. (!) You almost never see a superheroine with glasses - it makes them seem too vulnerable.

So I asked ~RedWolf246 if I could submit this piece (since it was his character), and he very kindly gave his permission
