Yay, first page is done! I gotta say, drawing this page and page 2 made me SLEEPY!! Ha ha~ What I find special about this page is the fact it's based off a fond memory of mine. Back when I use to live in Idaho about 9 years ago, I would wake up and walk to the school bus at the end of the corner of the neighborhood. While walking over there, I thoroughly enjoyed how fresh and chilly the country air was while the morning sunlight would warm up my skin, and the best part was the whole morning experience felt absolutely wonderful with water on my face after washing it and not drying it out, or when I let a neighbor's lawn sprinkler spray my face along the way. *SIGH*, best way to wake up in the morning I say, did wonders to relieve stress and put me in a good mood before school~ Just looking at this page makes me envy Tori, because I know she takes such a wonderful morning experience for granted. I can't wait to finish this awesome comic, because it's going to be a real treat to read~

The story begins with Tori the Pawniard waking up near the edge of Creeping Forest, living a lifestyle very similar to that of little Jody (Bisharp's mom) and her tribe back then. I have to admit, this introduction is way calmer and more relaxing than my usual intros, which, after an exposition shot, usually involve a screwball comedy sequence or something dramatic, so this was an interesting scene to help render!

This is also the first time I'm working with ~CrimsonAngelofShadow. She first commented on my works during Team Pecha's Mission 6 comic, and I quickly began to realize how great of a storyteller she was. Plus, her team had a very compelling Pawniard on it (and I just love the way she draws Pawniards and Bisharps in general), so I figured it would be excellent for both our characters if we could collab one day. And sure enough, with emotion-ferreting Ralts and super-mischievous Bandit the Shuppet out of the way, this became the perfect opportunity!

She and I had already RP'ed the WHOLE comic last Thursday (remember, I only EVER RP when it comes to thinking of plotlines for mission/event comics), and it was the most fun I EVER had. Bisharp, in particular, will end up undergoing a major character change over the course of this story, and it all came about so naturally. Look forward to it!
