Rarity's Delage

The third installment of the cars the Mane 6 would drive if they had cars. This is actually where I originally got the idea for this series from and began expanding the idea for the other ponies as well. For Rarity, I figured she wouldn't drive just any ol' car, but it would have to be akin a work of art itself: elegant and refined. And few cars come to my mind that have quite that level of panache and elegance that she'd appreciate as the Delage D8-120, which were never sold complete off the rack but were always draped in custom bodywork by various different coachbuilders (hence none are ever exactly alike). The swooping fastback bodystyle of this 1937 Aerocoupé by Letourneur & Marchand is particularly attractive and perfect for Ponyville's resident fashionista.
