Introducing Raven

I never mentioned the passing of my best friend/dog Caesar over a year ago... losing him (and all the pain and misery from dealing with cancer) was such a traumatic and horrible experience... It was too much for me to try to put into words or even attempt to deal with. It is still very difficult for me... I know there were some followers who had been watching my pics from the beginning, who knew what a beautiful and wonderful dog he was. I just wanted to let you know what happened... and would appreciate all the love and energy sent to his Spirit.



I really missed having a dog friend in my life, and while volunteering at the shelter, one dog stood out to me as a perfect match. So... introducing Raven! I've had her for a few months now, but she is hard to get pictures of! Whenever I get down to take a shot, she walks over to me to give kisses and get pets. She is such a doll! She adores people, cuddling, sleeping, and chasing squirrels. I think she is a pit bull mix of some sort - she definitely has that mushy "please give me lovins" attitude that most pit bulls have. I'm very grateful for her calmness, silliness, and all around chill attitude... and am excited to have her in my life!
