I'm grateful to all the Christians on dA and I stand with all of those who like myself are not afraid to stand up for what we believe. dA is a good opportunity and tool to spread the word about what exactly it is we believe.  To do less is a violation of a sort of Divine Mandate "Go into all the world and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and The Holy Spirit and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you."
Sure, we all fail to do what's right and fail to do as we're commanded. It's our sinful nature. I don't consider myself perfect, no Christian should. The fact we are messed up failures as people is THE core tenant of our faith.  We can't save ourselves, making Christ's sacrifice the only way of salvation.
It's not a popular message to the world at large, it never has been but we were warned about that.  We expect it and treat it as a blessing.

"Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven." Matthew 5:10
It's nothing new to us, but The Faith has endured and has only grown stronger in the face of endless persecution.  Hate us, hate the message, we'll still be standing strong.  We are to treat others with love and respect, but sometimes love requires the stick more than the carrot. That's part of why the message of saving faith is so unpopular. You need to change, to make an effort to be better, not because it means you can earn your way into Heaven but as a testimony of the one who did everything for you, all you need is to believe. You will stumble and fall, our human nature is still a part of us, but in the end you are forgiven.
Wouldn't you want others to share in that?
