Asian faces are relatively harder to get right and this is one of the toughest work I've done.

Wow! What an amazing piece. The thing that I especially love about this portrait is that the eyes and the expression hold so much life- the artist has skillfully captured the emotions within the face and I think it really brings the piece up to a whole new level, along with emphasizing the talent of this artist.

The level of detail in this piece is immense and I cannot fathom how much time and effort went into it- the artist said it was one of the hardest works they've ever done and I can say it is easily one of their best. The only qualm I have with this piece is the hair- although it has been drawn excellently and with all the right highlights and shadows, I personally think it looks a bit digital- I first thought this portrait was painted using digital means but I am all the more amazed that it wasn't.

All in all JW-Jeong should be exceptionally proud of this; it can be difficult to achieve the correct colours and tones when painting portraits but he has done this excellently and I am very much looking forward to see your future works.
