Keep all mistakes
I know that this sounds weird but keep all mistakes. If you mess up just change the color size like this SomtSometimes you are going to mess uo and uo up andand it is just easier it to change the color or size if you are DA but every word counts because you are going for Quanity than Quality.

Character Development #2
I thought that I would post how I develop characters. I do a character sheet that helps me know every detail, hair, eyes, skin. Physical details are important when you are describing your characters. Now for personality...I tend create that as I go. Sometimes I have a rough idea of the background and it gets clearer as I write but other times....the characters just do things that not even I would expect them to do. By the way it is totally cool to kill off characters just keep in mind that when you do, have a box of kleenex near by...You are going to need it!

Getting into your scenes
Okay yesterday I mentioned that it is okay to kill characters off and that you may need some kleenex. This is only because I take to heart what Charles Dickens said about writing "Having feelings with your characters and scenes as you write means that the reader will have the same feelings or something along those lines. It is totally cool to be overjoyed in parts, to cry, to feel anger towards a character because if you feel it your readers will feel it.

Poetry Break!
Lets give your brain a break and do something completely different. Sometimes taking your mind off of your story will relax you, give you a mental break, and do something that is different. Lets write a poem Haiku to be exact. Short and simple. You all know what haiku is right? Well if you do not, no worries. A Haiku is a three lined poem with 5 syllables in the first line, Seven syllables in the next and five syllables in the last. Haiku's are mainly about nature and natural things.

Plot Bunnies
Just so you do not get confused in the lingo, plot bunnies are sneaky little things. They normally occur when you are stuck on the plot. Which direction to go, what is going to happen next... Inspiration for scenes and plots occur at the oddest times so to prepare yourself for that... Pen and Paper. Let it be a a sheet of folded up notebook paper to jot down the idea before it leaves your head or a memo pad (cheap in some places) to get through a whole scene. You can always type it up later!

Read a book
Some of the best ideas come when you are reading other stories or book. It is a option to get ideas from current stories and not copy them but use them to help you through your story. Sometimes you just need a little push in the right direction.

Word Count: 900 words in three days
Since our last word count was five hundred in five days, now write 900 words in three days. The Theme is school. It can be about school, being in school, what it is like in school, your school, a fantasy school...whatever! But have fun. The month of November is not supposed to add stress but be fun challenge.

November is Here!
As most of the members know November is a busy month for writers and for us admins. I do apologize for not being on here that often, in actuality I forgot my password and my computer broke so I finally got it working but to all those who submitted and had expired works I will remedy that.
For those that don't know November is National Novel Writing Month, 50,000 words 30 days and a lot of caffine!
So I am going to keep this short.
What this can help with,
:bulletred: Those that are starting, ideas and tricks of the trade in how to win this
:bulletgreen: Post your wordcount and keep others motivated (mine is 0 but hey it's only day 3)

Quick Apology
First I would like to apologise for not being as active as I should be in this group. I've been all over the places with personal problems in my life and have only come onto DA to respond to comments and to submit gifts I have made and promised for other users on DA.
When I logged on today I noticed how big the inbox had gotten and imminently got to work on accepting or declining works. Today I got my wake up call and I will be on at least once every day or two to keep the submissions rolling.
If anyone has any problems regarding submissions or anything else either leave a comment here, on the home page or note the group.
Thank you for sti
