is the "25 de Abril Bridge" connecting the city of Lisbon to the
municipality of Almada on the south bank of the Tejo river...

Overall Vision Originality Technique Impact'We Are In It Together' is an emotive work that seems to suggest the potential of love to sail life's stormy seas inseparably together. The bright, red clothing that contrasts against a grim background seems to emphasize to the viewer the concept of finding that little bit of chivalry and beauty in such a grey environment.
While it is not uncommon to see a desaturated image with a hint of colour still left within the frame, the work is able to exceed the 'norm' of such a technique due to the minimalist-like approach of colouring the figure. Therefore, while the red figure becomes a focal point in comparison to the rest of the work, it does not distract from the subtle detail in the surrounding environment.
A beautiful work overall!
