About the Thoyase

What is a Thoyase?
A Thoyase is a mixture of five different breeds. These breeds include the Thoroughbred, Shayaga Arabians, Murgese, Alter-Real, and the Furiso. Sometimes, one breed would over power the others and have created two different types of the Thoyase. The sport and the light.

What is so special about the Thoyase?
Although the breed has two different types for two different uses, they all have one thing in common. The personality of the breed is rugged, strong minded, and always eager to please. They have a heart of gold, and a passion for what they are doing. These horses are meant to be moving and learning. No matter the type of Thoyase, they will always be graceful. Also, their eye color doesn't seem to follow genetics, as long as they are realistic. A simple bay horse may have blue eyes and a horse with the Splash gene might have green eyes.

History of the Thoyase.
Many years ago, a farmer wanted a strong, determined, yet graceful horse for his daughter. With careful breeding, he created a Thoroughbred/Murgese mix. This horse had power, and beauty while in the show arena. The lineage continued when the horse was bred to other breeds, creating what is today known as the Thoyase.

What are the different types of the Thoyase?
There are two types, all very different in structure.
The Sport type is Thoroughbred and Murgese dominated, with a strong and quick gait. It is best used for quick sports, like eventing and jumping. It is light on it’s feet, and quick to learn.

The Light type is a Shayga Arabian, Furioso and Alter-Real dominated. It use best used for shows such as dressage and halter. This horse has a high step, and a poised gait.

The possibilities are endless! Just remember, the more you draw and gain love points, the more breeding slots the horse has!
