Fanart - Uriel as a Goa'Uld System Lord

A lineart drawing and a piece of fanart I came up with (due ot be coloured) of one of my OC's Uriel Ultanos after bing infected with a Goa'Uld parasite from Stargate. Alongside him stands a custom Jaffa guard.

Since buying SG-1 season 1 I have become a fan of the show and I do find the Goa'uld as something intimidating. For those who don't know they are a race of parasitic alien eels that force themselves int othe body of a host (normally by making a cut in the skin and crawling inside) and take it over completely.

System Lords are the main authority of the Goa'uld empire, they control up to a dozen planets and are constantly fighting each other for dominance. GoaUld hosts are characterised by wearing a Kara'Kesh (a telekinesis-capable gauntlet coloured gold for system lords and silver for underlords), deep echonig voice, believing they are gods and the ability to make the whites and pupils of the host's eyes glow white.

As is said by many of them "Nothing survives of the host", which means - as far as we can tell - they take complete control no-matter how strong-willed you are and are capable of killing ther host if they are forcefully extracted without some very advanced means.
