I had asked both Dani-Owergoor and Flobelebelebobele to answer direct questions about their work. Therefore, I decided to put them together in one journal since the subject of the interviews are on the same topic.

:bulletpink: First up is Dani-Owergoor.

Q 1. The month theme is Illumination. Would you write your point of view on what that means to you?

My point about illumination is: is not enough to be proficient in a perfect cut and finding unique images, if your work missing lighting, it doesn't draw attention.
So, can you tell me: "I don't care to attract people, I make art just for me".  Who does art to itself don't publish in public places, but keeps in a folder stored on your own computer. Everyone has the desire to be better and better in your style, whatever it is, and I think all styles require good illumination, for me, this is essential, it's "the soul" of your art.</b>

Q 2. Briefly explain,  and explain whatever direction you want to go with this question,  how light is a big faction  in  your own work.

When I started, I was worse than today, but my main focus was (is) always to learn how to work with illumination. If I learned? No totally, but I keep studying to learn, and sometimes I miss, sometimes I hit. It is not easy if you are not a professional.

I believe that good lighting and good sharpness is what gives life to your work. I'm tired of seeing beautiful works with lights and colors, but when you see in hi-res, they are "blurred" without definitions. This kind of work loses a point with me. Then, ask myself ". How a person works so well with lights and colors and finishes a job</a> without definitions?". When you search the sharpness of your art, the light reveals even more magnificent.

Q 3. Choose 5 of  your deviations that you feel explains what you wrote above.

My choices are:

:bulletpink: I hope you learn something about what  Flobelebelebobele has has to say on her art.

Q. Your images evoke so much emotions with such expressive characters, often with a touch of humor. Can you tell us what comes into your mind when you're searching for ideas to create a conceptual image?

Fresh Air by Flobelebelebobele
This one kind of speaks for itself. This is the direction we, as a race, are headed towards. Depressive, isn’t it?

Where's that damn train? by Flobelebelebobele
Sometimes life has unpleasant surprises. Sooner or later in life it happens to everyone (hey, I mean surprises, not a train running you over:rofl:), but one should meet it with humor, not  by depression.

This Means War by Flobelebelebobele
This one is connected with “Fresh air” (first one above). When Michael Legge sent me the photos of the model, I kind of just knew that he will be a bully and I knew as well that he will mistreat a poor married rat couple. Having the general idea, it was easy to add the bike route and the battle between the couple and the bully. As I instantly knew which stock photos I would use, the rest was easy. …And the title came by itself. If anyone does not recognize it: “This means war” AC/DC.

Thank you for the interview. Here are 5 of my favorites by Flobelebelebobele.
