This year at Grendall Falls Equestrian Centre will be hosting the GFEC Winter Horse Trials. It will not be held at Grendall Falls Equestrian Centre in Florida. Instead it will be held at GFEC branch western stable in Aspen, Colorado. Aspenwood Acres is a beautiful ranch on a flat plain the carries into the woods and the mountains. It is a large equestrian center that is built similarly to GFEC.

At these winter trials there will be a series of English riding events. It will be set up very similarly to a 3 day event, but you will have a choice of whether or not to enter all three days or just one.

RULES
1. Proper tack only(defined below).
2. Do not be rude.
3. Show effort.
5. All horses must be atleast 5 years old.
6. No head portraits. Full body only.
7. You can enter without registration.
8. All riders must be 16 and over.
9. You can enter more than one horse and rider. Not two of the same rider in the same class though.
10. Background required(photo or painted).
11. Riders entering all three days can be shown in one deviation.

REQUIRED TACK
Show Jumping
Riders/Horses must wear the following: Helmet, English Jumping saddle, English bridle, leg protection, Show coat(any color), gloves, breeches(white, tan, black), and any color saddle pads, breast colors permitted.
Freestyle Dressage
Riders/Horses must wear the following: Proper dressage jacket, white breeches, gloves, whips and spurs are permitted, no breast collars or martingales permitted, black field boots, no leg protection permitted(wraps only).
Cross Country
Riders/Horses must wear the following: Any color chest protector, any color of jacket underneath, gloves, black or brown field boots(or half chaps), white/tan/black breeches, leg protection required(wraps or tendon boots), breast collars permitted, martingales/whips/spurs are permitted.

CLASSES
Show Jumping
The horse must be show going over a jump, galloping in  between, or coming off of the jump.
Indoor Arena!

Dressage
Horse can be shown in any dressage movement(piaffe, flying lead changes, ect...). With the entry you must pick a song to do your freestyle routine too.
Indoor Arena!

Cross Country
Horse can be show galloping the course, jumping any kind of cross country jump, or coming off of a jump.
Outdoor trails(look at AA's map) It will be snowy.

JUDGING
Effort(compared to gallery): 1-20 pts
Creativity: 1-10pts
Following Tack/Attire Requirements: 1-10pts(3pts deducted for incorrect tack and attire)
Extra Pictures(up to 3): 5pts each/10pts if GFEC staff is shown.
Following all of the Rules: 1-10pts(3pts deducted for rules broken).
Painted Background: +5pts
Total Available: 85pts
