Ten things about me:
1. I tend to scratch my head incessantly. It gets on the nerves of my family.
2. My grandma just reprimanded me for oversleeping, saying it must be a disorder.
3. My room is completely blue, and decorated with a sea theme.
4. I have next to no resistance for pain.
5. I tend to be overly polite and tactful to strangers, but I will be completely blunt to you once I get to know you, granted you aren't sensitive.
6. I can't stand people with attitude. (with some exceptions)
7. I tend to gravitate towards things I normally despise when I'm sick. (terribly put together cartoons, rap, and romance movies, to name a few)
8. I wish I could cosplay someday, with a handmade costume.
9. I would actively try to lose weight for that sole purpose.
10. My life mottos are "I laugh to keep myself from crying" and "the more things change, the more they stay the same". ...I'm what an optimist calls a realist, ahaah!

1) Did you have a good week? How so?
-It's been a bit disappointing, but not as stressful as it could be. So overall not so bad!
2) Best film you've seen lately & why?
-Oh dear, lately? Uhm, probably a tie between The Avengers and The Cat Returns for totally different reasons. The Avengers for obvious reasons of glory, hilarity, and all my feelings for the heroes of my childhood on screen together. YES.
Then, there's The Cat Returns, which is an anime, that I feel is just completely and inexplicably my movie. I -was- that main character as a child. Just obsessed with cats. Ahaha, oh and it was just hilarious watching it, too. Though I guess it counts as more of a guilty pleasure, since overall it's kind of weird. But then again, I defy anyone to show me an anime that isn't!
3) Do you play a musical instrument? What do you play?
-Ahh, this is a popular question, isn't it?
Yes, I dabble in piano and harmonica but not well. So, no. No, I do not... /sadface
4) Most memorable place you've been to?
-Hiking out in the mountainous regions where I live. I felt like I nearly died. There were ropes to help climb the steep rocks involved. (I... I don't get out often.)
5) What are you looking forward to this year?
-A, Getting a job, B, buying ALL the games, and C, EGGNOG.
6) Are you a planner or do you usually wing it?
-Mm, a bit of both, depending on the situation. If it's really important, I usually plan out the conditions in advance. But, for the most part I just tend to wing it. Although I do think about the consequences of things I do beforehand. Sometimes, I just don't care. Ahahaa!
7) What are you working towards in your career?
-Oof. That's a hard one. Still debating on that myself. Thought it might be art, scratched that idea. (more of a hobby for me) Thought of being a vet, scratch that. (can't handle all the blood) And NOW I'm shooting for this library gig, so we'll see how that turns out.
8) Who's your favourite visual artist, style, & era?
-Oh, dear. Can... Can I just love them all? ;3;
I mean, I love the classic renaissance men, to be sure. The realistic paintings always fascinated me.
Then there's the stylistic choices of Van Gough, as well as his heartbreaking life story.
And then there's today's art, like Stan Lee, who in my opinion is THE MAN.
There are so many obvious choices of famous artists I could choose from...
But then there's the lesser known artists that I've had the pleasure of knowing, starting out here on DA. They are inspirational and incredible people, which I don't take lightly. I've even been able to call some of them friends, so that's a real nice bonus.
So in short, I love you all, artists of the world. Even if you are crazy. <3
9) Do you believe in the supernatural or not?
-I believe that within the mind, it is entirely possible for anything to seem real enough. Without sufficient proof though, I 'm not inclined to believe it. I mean, in the dark, your head plays tricks on you, making you see anything and everything despite being blind, basically. And yet there's nothing there. Doesn't change the fact that every time I go to grab a midnight snack, my surroundings turn into a warzone.
10) A hobby that you absolutely, genuinely enjoy?
-Laughing. Okay, that's probably not a hobby, but... Reading or watching something funny is, right? So, there you go! It's something I can honestly say I would never get bored of doing. Although I suppose my sides would start to hurt something terrible. Ah well, it would be for a good cause. lol

1. What is your favorite mythical creature?
While I feel tempted to say "the perfect soulmate", It's a pretty close tie between the Cthulu, and Phoenix. Cthulu, because dang, if that isn't just so much fun to say and write out. IT'S CTHULU. Not to mention the level of terrifying awesome that sea creature is. And although I know references to the Phoenix has been used on numerous occasions in literature, art, and films to the point of being overdone, I think it's rightfully so. Ahh, The Cat Returns! I saw that for the first time ever last summer. It makes me wish that cats were really bipedal and wore fancy clothing and stuff. My cat would look fabulous in a tailcoat and breeches. 
Your answer to the supernatural question made me smile. "Doesn't change the fact that every time I go to grab a midnight snack, my surroundings turn into a warzone." I can't think of a truer statement. XDDD It's even worse when you're home alone... I watched The Ring last night with my roommate and her friend, and my roommate left to take the guy home so I was left on my own for ten minutes... I had to traverse the pitch-black hallway to my room and I was horrified the whole time. >.>
I shall do this tag tonight! Most likely.
