New werewolf mask WIP special: before and after

Description

Okay, I managed to make two resin blanks using smooth-cast 300 from smooth-on.com (one from the old latex mold and one from the new one) and take photos of them both together for a special part of my WIP series: a 'before and after' strip, with the old one on the left and the new one on the right.
(I also couldn't be arsed to write down all the details in the Artist's Comment like I usually do so I wrote them on the deviation instead). :relaxed:

The new one now fits to my face just fine while the old one was too small and also too thick at the end of the snout to cut through with my dremil.

However I will say this to the people who kept commenting about the length of the muzzle (regardless of me mentioning EVERYTHING about the snout in the third, fourth and fifth parts of the WIP) and to those who have thought about commenting about the muzzle: that the muzzle is supposed to be that long so that I can fit the whole Jawset inside without having to cut it, just like :iconun-do: did with her wickedly brilliant mask Mr. Grin. [link]

So please people: STOP commenting about the length of the muzzle, as I am now sick and tired of having to repeat myself over and over again. I have now thoroughly explained why I've deliberately made it so long in this Artist's Comment, and also in numerous conversations with other people on the other parts of the WIP, so you have no reason to ask anymore now that I've made my intentions clear on this page. Anybody who comments about it anyway because they're too lazy to read this page's Artist's Comment will be ignored and or their comments hidden if the comments are offensive. :police:

PS: I have already been told that smooth-cast onyx is better quality than 300 for resin-masks, but until I've got a bit more cash (I am now nearly broke thanks to all my wasted rushing for halloween and other personal reasons last week) and have tested a small sample of onyx with latex, I won't be using onyx for resin-blanks.

Totally awesome. I bet it'll look really authentic once you add the "fur"
